Images of a Modern Fable (2003-2004)
Questioning anxieties generated from contemporary Britain, this is a document of a fictional, timeless place. The fabric of everyday life has been utilised to posit a fictional vision. In presenting the world back to you I have created it anew. The images illuminate small fragments of an ominous city and its rural outskirts and are paradoxically both seductive and unsettling, containing a powerful sense of mystery and imminence. |
